Darash (דָּרַשׁ) doesn’t mean a casual search.
It means to investigate, to examine, to pursue with intent.
Think: spiritual detective. 🕵️♀️
Not skimming the surface.
Not settling for vague answers.
But leaning in, asking better questions, following the clues.
“You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.”
— Jeremiah 29:13
That word seek?
Darash.
Whole-hearted.
Focused.
Relentless.
“Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence continually.”
— Psalm 105:4
This isn’t a one-time glance.
It’s a lifelong investigation.
And here’s the beautiful twist:
When we darash the Lord,
we don’t just learn about Him —
we begin to see Him.
“Those who look to Him are radiant.”
— Psalm 34:5
Seeking becomes seeing.
Not because God was hidden,
but because our attention finally aligned.
So ask.
Probe.
Wrestle.
Notice the patterns.
Faith isn’t blind —
it’s attentive.
Seek like a worshipper.
Investigate like a detective.
And watch how the Lord reveals Himself
to those who look closely.
